Meet the Department for BBA Freshmen Students (Batch 232 and Batch 241)
The Meet the Department program for the BBA freshmen students of Batch 232 and Batch 241 was successfully held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM in Room # A 601 (Moot Court). Ms. Sarzia hosted the event, which was organized to welcome new students and familiarize them with the Faculty of Business Studies.
The program began with a warm welcome from the host, followed by a recitation of the Holy Quran. The Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Tareque Aziz, then delivered the welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of academic excellence and personal growth. He shared valuable insights and encouragement with the new students, helping to set the tone for their journey at the faculty.
Following the Dean’s speech, the Chairperson (Acting), Mr. Mahmud Wahid, shared his thoughts on the program and the overall academic structure. He provided insights on how the students can make the most of their time at the institution and encouraged them to engage in their academic and professional development actively.

The floor was then opened for students to express their thoughts and queries and share any different issues related to their academic and professional paths. The session was interactive, and the Dean and the Chairperson addressed the students’ various queries.
Their responses provided clarity and guidance on several topics, including academic requirements and career prospects. Moreover, students also shared some dissatisfaction regarding the transportation system, canteen issues, and so on, and the dean and chairperson assured them that these issues would be addressed very soon and a regular follow-up would be conducted.


The program concluded with closing remarks from the Chairperson, who thanked the students for participating and encouraged them to remain committed to their studies. The host, Ms. Sarzia, then offered a final note of gratitude, thanking all attendees for their patience, active involvement, and contribution to the event’s success.
The Meet the Department program marked a positive start for the freshmen as they began their academic journey in the Green Business School department.
